So informal that is a school form which boast over 150 graduates in less
than 4 years?... and even more if you know that graduates of a course of 16
weeks there who develops his talent as far away as Dubai and New York, just to
give an example. It´s important to share those elements that are successful and
the ingredients that have made it an enriching experience for all who
participate in it.
Digital Invaders successfully responds to the urge to recruit talent
generator of ideas and put it together to start an educational Project. Initially
defined as talent identification course, contradicts the idea that what is
defined is limited, however had to start the project.
Is interesting to note that the importance of the idea and the desire to
change that which does not meet the needs converge when starting September 1,
2009 the first generation of Invaders, WebScout 1.0 “upgrade yourself”, and
with it a rich learning experience of all natures, actually doing the mission of
education UNESCO proposes to “allow all without exception, all his talents to
fruition and all creation capabilities, which means that everyone can be
responsible of himself and make his personal project”. This happens overcoming
cultural barriers, space, time, opportunity… Together to build a future in
which self – realization goes hand whit the growth of the computer.
From there, a great deal of talent, hard work,
perseverance and creativity have been basic elements of Digital Invaders
breathe. More than 150 warriors have believed in this great educational
project. Grupo W, creative agency school. A lot of anecdotes, experiences,
disasters, successes, disagreements and celebrations have marked the life of
this short educational entity. They show that learning space con be anywhere,
especially where daily work is brewing and which promotes collaboration between
students and teachers, which in this case teachers are some of the talents who
work in the agency, adding to a project that pay off in excellent trained
talent to achieve the objectives to the agency, which has won countless
international awards.
Every four months, exactly 16 weeks, is launching a
call published in social networks to recruit on average 150 briefs per
generation, of which only 15 are selected for a place on this course,
essentially a community of learning and practice that has talented creative
from around the Word. They leave their life to focus on this period of time, in
school activities, and at the end present projects, previously agreed as they teachers
as a brief, rather as a challenge to solve than a meaningless work. These are
proposals are amazing quality, encouraging teachers and students to do their
best in every generation since extenuated make a research on what is done and
how it works, especially in the technological, be very objective forcing on
goals, and with a capacity of discrimination about what is useful and what will
not work well.
Each generation has marked its course, an element that recovers the
value of the constant evolution of continual improvement and full respect for
the interests, abilities and needs of the group, honoring the first cry invader
“Upgrade yourself” in all there is a different expression that identifies them
to unite its members, evolving materials which integrates elements that respond
to the rhythm that the creative industry requires and that is not limited to
what you have just a few km. away, but what is done around the word. “If you´re
going to compare it with the best”, making generations but similar values and
beliefs, each seal is different and challenge to overcome.
Following only dictated by UNESCO, “We need crazy
ideas like this, when it is shown that usual approaches do not give any results”,
in the invaders words, “with unorthodox methods get results unconventional”.

employment is a pretext for claiming that basic knowledge must be sufficient to
prepare individuals to face a changing Word”, and that knowledge will be
essential to prepare today´s generations to search tirelessly answers, not only
to meet a need, but to make profound changes. We seek to create curiosity,
desire for improvement, learning to learn constantly. I think we should develop
skills and abilities that allow long learning anytime, anywhere.
